Chocolate Chippie...

I am loving the effect of brown Glimmermist on raw chipboard so I used this Chipboard Word Dreamer, added the Glimmermist in a fadeout effect from bottom to top and then drew dots in pen along the bottom half. For the Sea Grass Chipboard I experimented with pen and ink adding a little dimensional magic.

Thanks once again for looking and Happy Scrappin- Get that Stuff2Scrap chippie rockin'!!!

White with 1 challenge layout

Hi everyone,
It's Sharryn here this afternoon, elated that I finally had time to fit some scrapping in! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day lately.

I've been trying to get around to all the challenge blogs in the past couple of months and yesterday I managed to finish off a page for White with 1. The criteria for this month is to use white with brown and something vintage.
I used a photo that I love of my eldest son and me taken last May:

Wanting to keep with the theme of the title I used some twine and hessian to form a 'nest' around a vintage photo of birds.
I then wove it through a funky Square It piece of Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard which i'd previously lightly inked. Then wove it randomly around the page.

I also used two gorgeous Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard birds to represent mother and son on my page. I simply left them raw but added some white rub-ons to them for a little added something.

Why not give White with 1 a go this month? It's the perfect challenge to use your Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard either raw or dressed.
Have fun,
Sharryn

Last day to get your entries in and a dreamy layout to share! :D

G'day everyone! This is Chantal Vandenberg here, and I'd love to share a layout with you all that I made this week using Leeann's Bubble Border (Large) which can be purchased HERE. Yes, it's designed by THE Leeann Pearce and it's one of the MANY awesome Stuff 2 Scrap products in store.

So here I've cut the bubble border chipboard in two places, painted it white, and attached some doilies underneath, inside each "bubble". I've also stitched three charms to these - kinda like a dreamcatcher sorta thing for a bit of fun, going with the whole theme of the page. I have then tied a ribbon through one of the "bubbles" and I've used this across my photo and page as a design element. Just a couple of rub-ons and a very small dash of bling and done - a charming feature element that really "makes" the page!

This is what I used in it's raw state. Because I cut out a section, I have a few extra "bubbles" for another project! Cool!

I could use this particular item heaps and heaps of times and come up with completely different results, it's that versatile!

Don't forget about the two AWESOME giveaways here! You have until tonight (10pm AEST Friday night 18/2/11) to get your entries in! Check out the post HERE and get your entry in! Good luck and have a great weekend!!!

Chippie Inspired

I have been having lots of fun with my stash of Stuff2Scrap chipboard. I created this layout using a Bubble Arrow, Rockets and Chipboard Stars #002. I covered the bubble arrow with tape and outlined with black pen before topping with the alphas and the stars were just simply glimmermisted. The rocket I painted then topped with Dimensional Magic.

Look out I'm on a roll for then the creative bug helped me get stuck into this layout....

So for this one I wanted something soft and fairly neutral and I found by Glimmermisting the Mini Bubble Tree, Scroll Journal Block and Dream Word this went perfectly...

Just a little closeup..I find that leaving the chipboard in a fairly raw way really lends itself to being able to create other raw perhaps handmade embellishments like the little grass heads that I made out of brown twine and knotted bandages.  Thanks again for your time and Happy Scrappin!  Trace :)

New chipboard pieces - Felicity Wilson

Felicity here today.
with shaky and sweaty palms I write my first blog post for you all.

I love the little things my son does.
Millions of little things make him who he is.
I get a kick out of watching him run around the lounge room pretending to be  'Jermey the Jet'.
Some of the noises that he makes as the train crashes or as the car races around the race track, can be quiet loud.
He makes big 'sighs' in his sleeps and moves about in his bed asleep.

This page records the little things in him,
the things that make HIM.

Stuff to Scrap supplies:
Ribbon slide (bottom right corner)
New circles coming soon ( there are 2 there, I hav joined them together)

DONT FORGET ABOUT THE GIVEWAY HERE IN THIS POST.

Hey Scrappin Peeps!

Hi there everyone ;0
The girls have started the ball rolling with introductions so I shall jump in too. My name is Tracey, I am mum to two gorgeous challenglings, a 6year old boy and a 4 year old girl and have a dear male of 12years now. My beautiful fam have supported me with my scrapping passion and my current studying of photography.
I am lucky to have a wealth of scrapping buddies, hence lots of inspiration and feedback. I love to experiment with products new and old, my style goes from one extreme to another sometimes but so does our lives so I think its great to mix it up a little. However I am a sucker for anything vintage and retro.
How excited I am to be starting on this new endeavour with a design team that blows me away and I am sure soon by the wealth of scrapping talent all you guys have out there! I am ready to get hippy with my chippie, a super range of products Stuff2Scrap keep us drooling over.
The first layout I got stuck into is this:

I used the super cute Stuff2Scrap chipboard bird and square journal frame, loving how it lends itself to being used to frame as I did here, journal in or on. I chose to just simply cover the shapes with patterned papers, edged with ink, a dab of paint and applied a little dimensional magic to highlight the little Robin..wha-lah! I thought the stylised squares would look cute with my little home made records.

Well thanks for looking and listening! Hope you enjoy all this as much as I am..until later happy scrappin!
    Trace :)

Hey :)

Well hello there :)
Thought I'd pop in and say hi, introduce myself and tell you all how EXCITED I am to be on the Creative Team for Stuff 2 Scrap!!

My name is Sharryn and I'm a happily married SAHM with 6 gorgeous children, 1 beautiful daughter and 5 handsome sons. With so many kids around there are always lots of photo opportunities which equals lots of scrapping!

I've been scrapbooking now for about 7 years and have loved every minute of it. I have been very blessed to meet some wonderful friends through this craft, some of which will be lifelong mates I'm sure.

Not really sure what you'd call my style as I find it continually evolving but at the moment I'm loving grungy, textured, dimensional pages and sweet vintage layouts. I've always been a bit of a vintage girl and love anything old, worn and aged. There's nothing better than a day out op-shopping.

I'm really excited to be on the Stuff 2 Scrap team and over the moon at working alongside the other wonderfully talented girls.
Chipboard is my all time favourite scrapbooking product and I can't wait to get creating with the awesome, cool funky Stuff 2 Scrap designs.

I'd like to share a layout I did today for this months Kraft It Up challenge with the criteria of using Kraft cardstock (obviously)with the colours sky blue, orange and black.
Here is my layout:

I've used this funky bubble border designed by the very cool Leeann Pearce to go with my theme of bubble blowing.

I started off by painting the border, setting it aside to dry then using stamping with black StazOn and some funky circle stamps. I then added some mesh behind some of the circles and some patterned paper behind others for added texture and dimension. Lastly, I added some journalling with letter stickers to two of the circles.

So the bubble border wasn't only used as an embellishment, but also as frames and journalling spots.
How versatile is that? Three cool things to do with one piece of chipboard!

Well that's it from me for now but I look forward to chatting to you all and sharing projects again soon.
Take Care
Sharryn

G'day!!! :D

How are you going? This is Chantal here, and I'm sooo excited to be a part of this awesome Creative Team here at Stuff 2 Scrap!

Here's a little bit about myself...

Hi my name is Chantal Vandenberg, I am happily married to Jason and we have 2 totally gorgeous girls – Lucy (7) and Heidi (3).

I have now been scrapbooking for 3 years. I initially began scrapping as a fun way to preserve my family's memories, but now, it's all this and a whole lot more!

I have developed a passion for bright and bold colour, texture and design on my projects, plus I've also been incorporating more and more of my art and cartooning techniques on my work lately - which I totally love to do!

Okay, now I'd love to share a layout that I completed last week, called "Superstar!"...

So this layout is based on a sketch at Scrap the Girls and there's lots of goodies here to behold!

First up I've used Chipboard Stars #002 as a mask using paint and then attached them with glue after being painted and lightly glimmermisted. Now this is FUN. You get to mask and paint your stars all in the one go! :D

In the packet, you get both postives and negatives of stars in different sizes. These look great on heaps of different pages. I also built them on top of each other for a 3D effect. The possibilties are virtually endless with them!

I have also used Scallop Borders (Sml) Designed by Leeann Pearce. Love this set of scallops! You get two sets of scallops; one with holes and the other without! I simply stapled these to my layout and they really lend themselves well to layering to suit your design!

Well that's all from me for today! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post and be sure to pop on by at the shop to check out all the amazing goodies in store and don't forget to become a follower of this blog so you can keep up-to-date with all the latest new releases, creative team inspiration and the soon-to-be-unveiled monthly challenges!

Until next time! :D

Behind the scenes - backyard soccer

Hello to you all - it's Chantelle here today - thanks for making your way here to check out the new Stuff 2 Scrap blog - lots of exciting things are on their way!
I'm here to show you a scrappy LO using some of the great chipboard products available at
I've used a picture of my four boys who love to play back-yard soccer after school.
Here are some close-ups:
I've used the chipboard word 'behind the scenes' - firstly I've painted the title in red paint and then sponged the edges in espresso ink.  Next I've used an embossing folder and run it thru my Cuttlebug - I really love the effect it's given and you can do this with so many of the other fabulous chippies too!
Here I've used one of the journalling squares - I've left this one raw, just sponging the edges with the espresso ink and then adding one of Leeann's fabulous Chip-Chop Shop buttons.  These journalling squares are great to add titles as I've done here, or your own hand-written journalling.

Thanks for looking - be sure to check out the online store - Stuff 2 Scrap
