my new fave chippy!!

Well I say that every time I use a Stuff2Scrap chippy - but this one is definately my fave at the moment!

I thought I would whip up some cards this week... I have run out and like to keep a stock of them so when birthdays rock around... I am prepared!

This one is using this gorgeous tree and rope swing.  I painted it and then piled on some punched out leaves for dimension.  I doodled on the trunk and wrapped some string for the rope.

Thanks for stopping by - I'll be back soon for some more shares from our team for this months challenge!!

October Challenge....!!!

Hello everyone!!!

Anita here - I hope you are all having a great weekend!!

I love the start of the month .. so many fun new challenges to play along with and this one is a RIPPA!!

It's a 4,3,2,1 challenge!....

4 different pattern papers
3 flowers
2 tags
1 Stuff2Scrap chippy (another brand is ok too but how could you NOT scrap with the Stuff2Scrap chippies?!!)

This is just a minimum requirement... you can add more of each item and you can also add more elements - paint, mist stickers etc... it just has to have at least what is on the list.
You can create a card, layout or off the page project if you like!

I decided to do a wall hanging for my office for something a little different.....

And a little closie of that adorable Stuff2Scrap bird that I crackled then painted with Glimmer Mist and then hung a little tag/charm on his tail - CUTE!!

Now for some other AMAZING examples...

This one is from the VERY talented Chantelle Huizenga... oooh those colours are just gorgeous and I love what she has done with that beautiful tag she made here on last week's blog - what a GREAT idea!

And now for this STUNNING layout by Rachael Funnell That fussy cutting is just beautiful and...

who doesn't love a little glitter!! That is the Stuff2Scrap daughter title - what a great touch!

And what a FUN and FUNKY layout from Jess Mackenzie ... such great colours and what a little cutie pie - it just makes me smile!!

They are the only sneaky peeks I have for you for now but I will be back in a few days to show you more!!
SO ... grab your paper and tags, flowers and chippies and play along with us - can't wait to see what you come up with!!

create

My last share for my blogging week:  I created this canvas for my craft room - as the room is fairly neutral, I want to brighten it up with fun things that I've made.
I've used scraps of fabric and pattern paper to make up the background of this canvas with lots of paints and inks!!

.. and I've added in some beautiful chipboard - the birdcage by Leeann - I have simple added glossy accent to make it shine ..
Hope you've enjoyed my inspiration and thanks for coming past and your lovely comments!!

There's still a few more days left for our current monthly challenge - you can view the details at this post - we would love to have more players - don't forget there is fabulous chipboard up for grabs!!

Tags & Journalling block

OK, so I promised you I would be back to share a LO using one of the tags I created in the previous post.  So here's what I've come up with:
When you have a tag all made up and ready to go - it's easy to add to your LO's such as this one.  I've added in a few more bit and pieces to finish it off!

I did add in another peice of chipboard - you can see it peaking from behind the Hambly!! It's the journalling block - stars - I've stamped with a 'music note' stamp, then added some ink to the edges.
Hope you've been enjoying my inspiration - I have one more piece to show you tommorow - it's a mini canvas that I've created for my new crafting space.  Til then......  happy crafting.

'itty bitty' chipboard

hello, I'm back with some 'small' pieces of inspiration.  I have some 'itty bitty' pieces of chipboard in my stash and have put them to good use on shipping tags.
By decorating and embellishing with chipboard and other fun items, you will have tags ready to add to your scrapbook LO's!!
... this one uses Leeanns Mini Huts ...

... and this one is a sweet little aeroplane chippie - a new item coming to Stuff 2 Scrap.

I've inked the edges of each piece of chipboard and leaving it raw to keep all the great details.
I'll be back tommorow to show you a LO using the last tag!!

chipboard corner star

hello... it's Chantelle here to share with you some chipboard inspiration.  I've had a little fun using the chipboard as a mask and then using the same piece as an embellishment on my LO!!
For this LO I've used the Chipboard Corner Star.  Using glimmer-mist and the chipboard as a mask, I've created a star background.  Then I've cut the same piece down to the size I liked, used some white paint and buttons - and created my own little embellishment.  Here are some close-up's:

This piece of chipboard is fairly large, so I have enough for another LO.  Masking with chipboard and glimmer-mist products is an easy way to add effective backgrounds to your pages.  I hope you will give it a try with some of your own chipboard.
Happy crafting!!
