Hi there! It's a new month and a new challenge here at Stuff2Scrap. It was my absolute pleasure to set the challenge for this month so I'm hoping you'll enjoy what I've come up with. For this month, I thought we'd get a bit messy so the criteria for the November challenge are:
(1) Paint - but wait! No brushes, sponges, etc. Use your creative hands to get paint onto your layout.
(2) Stacked chippie! This is a great way to use up varying sizes of the same design or combine totally different chipboard patterns, pieces and styles to create something new.
(3) Song lyrics - these can either make up your title, your journalling, or just a line on the layout somewhere. Any song you like is fine, from nursery rhymes to your favourite rock anthems!
Our Stuff2Scrap creative team have been busy getting their hands messy to bring you some inspiration for this month's challenge.
First up is Chantal's "Park Life" layout. Such a fun mix of patterns and colours!
Next up is Anita's super cute layout. I love that she has used her little boy's handprints as the hand painted element on this great layout.
Below is Chris's absolutely stunning take on this month's challenge, particularly for those who love lots of flowers and layering.
Below is Rachael's fantastic layout. I love the bright blue - it's really a show stopper!
There is more to come from the team this week so stay tuned. My own layout has experienced some "technical difficulties" thanks to my mischievous 7yo so after some tweaking, my layout will be up later today.
I hope you can join in as we've had a lot of fun with this challenge and I'm sure you will too! Be sure to post a link to your blog or gallery so we can have a look at your creations. There's nothing we love more than to see everyone's takes on the challenges and as you can see from the layouts above, everyone's take is different so why not share yours?
Have a great day and happy scrapping! Lucinda xx
