And The April Guest Designer is .........

The most wonderful, talented, creative .......

"Hi, my name is Stacey Young.  I live in Central QLD, Australia with my 3 boys (hubby of 8 years and 2 sons, Cooper and Kobi).  We are due for our 3rd baby early Jun:):)  I am a complete scrapping addict.  I just love the whole process, creating art and recording memories for my family.  You could say my style is collage-like, I love to fill every inch of the page and the more I get on there the merrier!  I absolutely love colour, layering and texture.  I am currently on design teams for Scrap the Boys, The Color Room, Such Sweet Tierney and My Little Bit Of Whimsy.  I have been scrapbooking for about 7 years now and see it as a lifelong hobby.  It is a wonderful way to relax at night and let all the stresses out over paint!!!!  Thankyou Annmarie for the chance to design with your gorgeous Chipboard products."

And here are some of the wonderful creations that Stacey has done with some of the Stuff 2 Scrap goodies

For this layout I used the Mushroom border.  I painted it and added lots of embellishments and texture around it:)

I used the hot air balloon chippie......I loved this one, it's so adorable, perfect for my little boy!  I just covered it in paint, material, patterned paper and wrapped some string around it.

One of my favourite Stuff 2 Scrap chippies would have to be Leeann's Beach huts.  I love using these on all my beachy layouts and also using the negatives of them

Here I used the honey pot and super cute bee and cloud.  I love painting my chipboard and covering with material, I barely leave it raw!  What can I say, I just love colour!!
Well that is all we have from Stacey for today - but she is still working on a few more layouts with our goodies that you can see through out the month.....  You can also go to her blog to check out what she is creating ...  she can be found here - www.staceyeyoung.blogspot.com
Until next time we meet

Project share

Well my week of blogging has sadly come to an end and I really hope you've enjoyed the layouts I've shared with you as much as I have creating them.

I'd like to share one more with you before I go. This is a funky layout I created for my nephew who loves all things out of space. I simply coloured the Lunar Patrol rocket ships with decorative chalks and crayons and outlined the edges with black pen to add some definition.

I cut a circle from denim and layered a Journal It over it to add my title and another piece of funky rocket chipboard.

Now before I go I really want to remind you of our very own challenge where you can win your own AWESOME Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard and have a go at a few of the tips and techniques we've been sharing here with you.
Until next time...take care and
Happy Scrappin'

A new day dawns.....

Hi again,
Sharryn here.
Have you ever started scrapping a layout or a page and it turns out that in the end...it's just perfect for something else?
That's EXACTLY what happened with this one!
Initially I wanted to show you how easy it is to use chipboard on a page three different ways but in the end I realised, with a bit of added journalling, it was ideal for this months Kraft It Up challenge.

You see...I had this AWESOME Sun'n'Clouds chipboard designed by Leeann that I really wanted to use on a photo I took of a glorious sunrise down on the NSW South Coast at a little place called Tuross Head.

I wanted to do something special with the sun to make it shine just like the real one in the photo. So...starting off, I inked all components with different coloured inks. The sun rays were begging for some sparkle so I applied gold Kindyglitz over the top of the gold ink I'd previously used.
For the sun itself, I added some gorgeous red, orange, yellow and white beads to represent heat. I adhered the beads to the chipboard with a coat of Dimensional Magic. I wanted to use the cloud section for part of the title but didn't want to leave it just inked so I added some Papier paint around the edges for extra dimension and also to represent the water the sun was reflecting over.

For the cloud to the left of the sun (see main layout), I simply inked it so as not to take away from the main piece of chipboard I wanted to showcase and used this too for part of the title.

I also had this fabulous Sea Grass pack also designed by Leeann that was just perfect for this layout however I didn't want to detract from the sun so I simply left it raw and added a stamped image on transparency and a word sticker to it.

So there you go...three different ways to use three different pieces of chipboard on one layout.

Until next time,
Happy scrappin',
Sharryn xx

Hi everyone :)

Hi all,
Sharryn here...yep it's my turn to blog and share some projects with you this week :)
Well I hope you're enjoying the gorgeous work thats been flowing through the blog lately...I know I have! Total eye candy...the Stuff 2 Scrap DT girls are just SO talented!!

I've been having a ball playing with all this gorgeous chipboard and a little birdie told me there are new designs in the pipeline...shhhh...don't tell anyone I told you ;P

Recently a dear friend of mine became a grandmother for the very first time and OMG the baby is just the sweetest little girl ever! I had the honour of photographing her when she was just 5 days old and nawwww...so tiny and so perfect.
Of course I wanted to scrap a photo of her and with this months White With 1 challenge to use white, hot pink and an artisan label, it was the perfect challenge!
So heres my first layout I have to share with you:

I used Leeann's gorgeous little 'diva stand' to compliment the layout and the outfit bubs was dressed in. I painted it first then added some hand dyed string and some fluffy pom pom trim around the body and finished it off with a tiny rhinestone. So pretty.

Well I'm off to find a new challenge to do...but before I go heres one that you don't want to forget!
Stuff 2 Scrap challenge...WIN WIN WIN!

Chat soon and happy scrappin',

This one is of our 8 year old little man (using the inside of the Geo Corners Lg)

And last but not least our 2 year old little man......

The background of this one was made by our DS8 using a white piece of cardstock and some crayons....  I then used Leeann's Up and Away as well as her fimo clouds found at her chip chop shop.

Happy Friday

Not sure about you,
but I am so glad its Friday,
it means the weekend is almost here.

Last weekend we took the Catarman and boat out on the water.
Brae had so much fun being 'daddy's lil guide'
REMOVED FOR PUBLICAITON
I created this page using Ann's square it. I love how versitale it can be.
use it as boarder as I did on my page
cut up the sqaures individual and place randomly around the page...

But I couldnt stop there,
I then came across these row of hearts and chopped it up
and it jsut added the 'perfect' touch to my page.

Dont forget about the monthly challenge here.

Have a great weekend :))

Criss cross

Lately I have been spending time with Brae
and truthfully
I love it and have no regrets.
I created this page documenting the time we decided to muck around with the camera
Brae knew what he was upto,
just being him and letting his true character shine,
shine through the lens.
I have used the criss-cross corner (small).
I am loving the way you can use these,
you could even join them together and use them as a long border.
I just love the way these have given my page character and added the 'extra' something to lift the page.

before I leave you,
here is a sneak of another page which I will show later in the week.

Happy Wednesday. :))
