happy days at the beach

My final LO to share for this week - I love how this one turned out - the bright splashes of colour reflect the Summer feel of these pictures.
The piece of chipboard is the word ' happy - I've painted it navy blue and added some crackle (which didn't take too well) but it still has that textured look!!
Thanks for joining me this past week and I hope I have inspired you with chipboard from Stuff 2 Scrap.

You have just a few days left for our monthly challenge - we would love to have some more entries - and you get to win some fantastic chipboard!!

discover

Another scrappy share - this time using that fabulous bubble tree from Leeann Pearce - love these tree's and they come in different sizes - here I've used the large one!
I've inked the edges with brown ink and then used a large script stamp to stamp over the whole piece of chipboard.  I've added in an owl button hand-made by me and also embellished the tree branch with some paper roses.

This large tree does take up some space on the 12x12 LO's but it really adds something special to your page.
Thanks for coming by!

A box of buttons

This is the Gift Box #1 - I've painted it red, added some stamping to the side, assembled with twine and stuck on some cute buttons to one of the sides = a little box for my buttons to inspire me while I create!
Here is the box in it's raw state - designed by Petrina McDonald and measures 68mm x 60mm when assembled.
Thanks for coming by!!

little friends

Hello, it's Chantelle here today with a LO to share using Stuff 2 Scrap chippies!!!!

I've used Up and Away, designed by Leeann Pearce.  I covered the little cloud with pattern paper from Bo Bunny and kept the balloon simple - sponging ink to the edges and adding some cute buttons and a fimo flower - too cute!!

I have a few more shares over the next few days, so be sure to keep checking for different ways to use this fabulous chipboard.

G'day and welcome to a bumper long-weekend edition post! :)

Hello! Well I'd like to share some more of my layouts with you all using awesome Stuff 2 Scrap chippie! First up is "She just has this way of brightening the day". I just ADORE these lovely chipboard honey pot trees! They are "Leeann Pearce's Honey Pot Trees". I've just painted the tops red and white, then I simply outlined the edges in a Sharpie pen. I left the stalks raw... sweet!

Next up is "Show Time". I've used "Petrina's Koi chipboard embellishment" as a mask with white paint before sticking it on to my layout, outlining it with black pen and giving it a button and goggle eye combo! ;)

So the way I used my Koi chippy as a mask was to brush white acrylic paint (the brush is dry) and sort of "stipple" the paint all around the chippy.

Next is "Rocket Science (5,4,3,2,1) :D

The journalling reads "Hey Heidi - my love 4 u is not rocket science. How could it be? With this super face!" :D

I've stitched over and under these super awesome Stuff 2 Scrap Chipboard Rockets #001... I really DID have a "blast" doing this... lol. (Had to say it!) I love how Stuff 2 Scrap chippie isn't too thick - so easy to sew! ;)

Okay moving on and second last share is "Up Close and Personal!"...

Here I used Leeann's Mushroom Border - Medium, and I painted the mushrooms with acrylic paints (red and white), left the wavy part raw and then affixed my title over the top! Such FUNKY mushies!!!

Okay now my last share is called "Frogs" and is one of my faves...

I had these cute pics of my kids jumping on a trampoline like li'l froggies. So I have painted a swamp backdrop and hand drew the frog with coloured pencils.

LOVE this Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard - Sea Grass designed by Leeann Pearce, and some sweet clouds. I white-washed them by mixing white acrylic paint with water. This way the paint sinks into the chippie and you can still totally see the etched lines still.... see? :)

Well my blogging week is over for now, here at Stuff 2 Scrap. I hope you have enjoyed my creations using the best and funkiest chippie on the planet ever. I sure have enjoyed sharing them and I definately enjoyed creating them! Also, this week I have had two double layouts using lots of Stuff 2 Scrap chippie accepted for publication too by Australian Scrapbooking Memories so this stuff is rockin' out! :D

Stay tuned for more awesome shares soon from the talented team and have an awesome long weekend!

TFL! :D

It's today!!! ;)

I'd like to share this layout "There is no greater gift than today" with you all! I really love this Stuff 2 Scrap chippie I've used on this here layout!!! It's called Leeann's Retro Grass pack! I've just used two pieces of the pack here, painted. I used the other pieces on another lucky layout. :D

I simply painted the chippie with white acrylic paint (not too thick). Then when dry, I painted in the red details. When this was dry I then drew back over the etched parts of the chippie with a black Sharpie pen. :D

TFL!!!

Hi there, scrappers!!!

( Look out for my double layout in an upcoming issue of Australian Scrapbooking Memories! )

Yep, I've got another double layout share for you all! I have scrapped a few doubles lately using yummy Stuff 2 Scrap goodies, and I would of shared another two with you here this week, but they are currently out for publication (Scrapbooking Memories and Creating Keepsakes) so you'll just have to wait ;P

Don't worry! I've still got plenty up my sleeve though! Now this layout was finished today - so how's that for hot-off-the-presses? LOL.

Like I've mentioned in a previous post, I'm loving these Stuff 2 Scrap chippie titles. Here I have mixed a little white acrylic paint with water and used an old toothbrush to flick over the word "beach" as well as other parts of the layout. Then I've simply doodled around the edges in a funky-cartoony style with a black gel pen.

I've also used a Corner Star #3 border (cut into 3 parts) on the left and right of my layout. Really love those borders - so cool, hey!

BTW - Don't forget our super awesome monthly challenge! Check it out here! Plenty of time to get your entry in! Yippee! :D

TFL & have a super day!!!

G'day there! How about a bit of twine-winding?!

Here's a double layout I recently created using some fab and funky Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard! (Please click on the image to enlarge it).

I've "funked-up" the already funky chippie even more by winding brightly coloured twine around the pieces and then stapling them into place. I have used an arrow from that cool pack of six chipboard arrows that I mentioned in yesterday's post (Chipboard Arrows #001), the cutest crown you ever did see (also from a packet of mixed goodies - this time it's a pack of mixed Crowns and Tiaras!). You can check out all the awesome goodies in store HERE.

Notice how I also decorated the crown with some sparkly jewel brads? They were the perfect finishing touch! I just love what these chipboard pieces add to a layout - I mean I think this crown really "topped" it off (excuse the pun! Ha ha ha!) - it was the perfect piece for this fun birthday themed 2-pager.

I have also even used up a bit of chipboard off-cut that came with my chippie package from Stuff 2 Scrap (to protect the chippies inside from getting damaged) and made my own bracket on the left side of the left page. :D I always think of the scrappy possiblities before anything is thrown away or (in this case) recycled.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! And don't forget if you are looking for a super-fun challenge, why not check out our very own challenge HERE... you may even win a prize! Yay!

TFL!

Aren't these birds the 'tweetest?!

Hello there! I just LOVE these super cute chipboard Chirpy Birds - Designed by Leeann Pearce. You get two in a pack and I think they look just adorable together! I've also used a chipboard arrow from the pack of six (yes 6!) Chipboard Arrows #001.

I've used almost the whole packet of these arrows on different layouts and projects - I just love them. The arrow used on this page is a whimsical "squiggly" one, which really suited this page. The other arrows that come in the pack are different shapes and there's one to suit every project... really handy to have in your stash. :)

So for this layout, I've kept my chipboard in its raw state because my layout is so bright and colourful. I rather like the look of raw chipboard, especially against all the brights.

Hey, would you like to WIN some awesome Stuff 2 Scrap chippie? Then why not get your creative juices flowing and play along with our monthly challenge HERE? I really enjoyed this challenge and I have to say, it produced my favourite page about me... ever! :D

Well that's all from me for now! I'll be back... very soon with more to share!

Cheers,
Chantal.

Hey there!!! How about some string-strung chippie?!

Hello! It's Chantal Vandenberg here, and I've been scrapping up a storm over the last month using fab-u-lous Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard!!!

I love how Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard is not too thick in width; that way it can be embellished anyway you wish without too much bulk for your albums. For instance, check out this close-up on what I did to my "Sister" word title...

Fun hey? So basically I have wrapped some string around and around and around my whole title and simply stapled the ends at the beginning and the end! And look how it's still has dimension without being over-the-top thick? Sweet!

Here's another layout I have creating using a Stuff 2 Scrap chippie title as my *ahem* TITLE! ;)

This layout is called "(Bee) Happy" and I've used a brad with a bee on it (awww) and a Happy title from (yep you guessed it!) Stuff 2 Scrap! This layout is officially a alpha sticker/thicker free zone! :)

So next time you are looking for something a bit different for your layouts, why not look at the awesome range that Stuff 2 Scrap has to offer in the way of titles? They also offer custom title orders too! You can check it out HERE in store.

And don't forget about our April Challenge!!! You've got until April 31st to get your entries in! Check it out HERE and get scrappin! Can't wait to see all your entries!!! :D

Now that's all from me for now. I'll be back really soon with more Stuff 2 Scrap scrappy shares! :D

Have an awesome day!
